Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using 1:1 Notes ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.

2. Description of Service

1:1 Notes is a collaborative meeting notes platform designed for managers and their direct reports. The Service allows users to sync their Google Calendar, identify 1:1 meetings, invite team members, and collaboratively take and share meeting notes.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must:

• Sign in using a valid business email address (personal email domains are not permitted)
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Organization and Team Management

Organizations are created based on email domains. The first user from a domain becomes the organization administrator. Subsequent users from the same domain must be invited by existing members. Administrators have additional privileges including managing organization settings and member access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share content that is harmful, offensive, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by 1:1 Notes and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you create within the Service.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services such as Google Calendar. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
